Dr Bunting is a British Heart Foundation research fellow at the University of Birmingham and a senior cardiac physiologist specialising in echocardiography at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. Her work focusses on improving the assessment of heart function in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Dr Bunting has a wider interest in improving the management of patients with atrial fibrillation and heart failure and has co-ordinated both national and international randomised trials.
