Matt Chapman is a clinical research fellow and PhD student. He joined the team in 2024 having previously been working as an Endocrinology & Diabetes specialist trainee.
He is working on the design and implementation of the HYPERMARKER clinical trial which is testing a new approach to drug treatment choice for high blood pressure using pharmacometabolomics (blood tests) and artificial intelligence. This work also involves the integration of public and patient representatives within the study design. He also has a role in participant enrolment of the DaRe2THINK trial and the delivery of the neurovascular sub-study.
